THE TRUTH ABOUT BEING SAVED

Salvation

"Salvation is only the beginning! You must continue on in your journey of life, allowing the light (understanding) of Jesus the Christ to come into you."

Matthew 3:13-17

13Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to John to be baptized by him.

14But John [f]protested strenuously, having in mind to prevent Him, saying, It is I who have need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?

15But Jesus replied to him, [g]Permit it just now; for this is the fitting way for [both of] us to fulfill all righteousness [that is, to [h]perform completely whatever is right]. Then he permitted Him.

16And when Jesus was baptized, He went up at once out of the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he [John] saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on Him.

17And behold, a voice from heaven said, This is My Son, My Beloved, in Whom I delight!(C)

These verses are very similar to the verses in Genesis 3, after Adam and Eve sinned against God, they were expelled from the Garden of Eden, which represents the presence of God. Here these verses describe Jesus, the Son of God (also known as the second Adam), turning the entire scene around, essentially opening the door of grace for man to enter into Gods presence once again. He (Jesus) shows us what actually happens when man is restored to Gods original intent. When we repent of our sins to God and get baptized for the remission of our sins, God sees the acknowledgement of our wrong doing towards Him and He grants us forgiveness (washes away our sins) and He transforms us back into His likeness, bringing about a change on the inside of us, allowing us to become born again/revived with Life thru His Holy Spirit.

Matthew 3:11

11I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

John 1:35-42

35Again the next day John was standing with two of his disciples,

36And he looked at Jesus as He walked along, and said, Look! There is the Lamb of God!

37The two disciples heard him say this, and they followed Him.

38But Jesus turned, and as He saw them following Him, He said to them, What are you looking for? [And what is it you wish?] And they answered Him, Rabbi--which translated is Teacher--where are You staying?

39He said to them, Come and see. So they went and saw where He was staying, and they remained with Him [k]that day. It was then about the tenth hour (about four o'clock in the afternoon).

40One of the two who heard what John said and followed Jesus was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.

41He first sought out and found his own brother Simon and said to him, We have found (discovered) the Messiah!--which translated is the Christ (the Anointed One).

42Andrew then led (brought) Simon to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, You are Simon son of John. You shall be called Cephas--which translated is Peter [Stone].

From these passages of scripture we can note, the disciples who followed Jesus were baptized by John the Baptist for the forgiveness of their sin, but they had not received the power inside of them/the Holy Spirit as of yet.

Matthew 10:1,19-20

1AND JESUS summoned to Him His twelve disciples and gave them power and authority over unclean spirits, to drive them out, and to cure all kinds of disease and all kinds of weakness and infirmity.

19But when they deliver you up, do not be anxious about how or what you are to speak; for what you are to say will be given you in that very hour and [f]moment,

20For it is not you who are speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

From these scriptures we see how Jesus began to build up the confidence of the disciples, by sending them out and empowering them, giving them authority to access the power upon them, this also made the disciples aware of the Holy Spirit that dwelt UPON them.

John 7:38-39

38He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water.

39But He was speaking here of the Spirit, Whom those who believed (trusted, had faith) in Him were afterward to receive. For the [Holy] Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified (raised to honor).

From these scriptures we see how not everyone believed in Jesus (meaning the words he spoke) during His time, because of this, they were not made aware of the Holy Spirit that was already in the Earth upon Jesus Christ, ready to be imparted to them for the work of the ministry.

John 20:20-23

20So saying, He showed them His hands and His side. And when the disciples saw the Lord, they were filled with joy (delight, exultation, ecstasy, rapture).

21Then Jesus said to them again, Peace to you! [Just] as the Father has sent Me forth, so I am sending you.

22And having said this, He breathed on them and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit!

23[Now having received the Holy Spirit, and being [b]led and directed by Him] if you forgive the sins of anyone, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of anyone, they are retained.

If you recall the earlier study "the TRUTH" you would recall how the air/breathe of life that Jesus breathed onto the disciples changed the atmosphere/awareness of the disciples. To summarize these scriptures Jesus was essentially speaking to His disciples, now that you have seen the power of God at work, and you have NOW come to UNDERSTANDING "John 16:29-31" realize/acknowledge the Holy Spirit that is alive and well upon you and His power that is constantly available to you, Amen! Furthermore, You ( addressing the disciples) already know that He (Holy Spirit) has been operating/proven Himself to you - "Matthew 16:16-17".

Jesus reassured the disciples, when it is time for them to be a witness of Him, the Holy Spirit will manifest Himself (make His presence known) within them and they will receive power from God "Acts 1:5-8" to show forth signs and wonders bringing people to belief. As the disciples went out the people did come to belief in Jesus and were baptized for the forgiveness of their sins, the people were also made aware of the Holy Spirit that dwelt within them "Acts 8:14-17.

"THE BLOOD"

Hebrews 9:12-22

12He went once for all into the [Holy of] Holies [of heaven], not by virtue of the blood of goats and calves [by which to make reconciliation between God and man], but His own blood, having found and secured a complete redemption (an everlasting release for us).

13For if [the mere] sprinkling of unholy and defiled persons with blood of goats and bulls and with the ashes of a burnt heifer is sufficient for the purification of the body,(F)

14How much more surely shall the blood of Christ, Who [b]by virtue of [His] eternal Spirit [His own preexistent [c]divine personality] has offered Himself as an unblemished sacrifice to God, purify our consciences from dead works and lifeless observances to serve the [ever] living God?

15[Christ, the Messiah] is therefore the Negotiator and Mediator of an [entirely] new agreement (testament, covenant), so that those who are called and offered it may receive the fulfillment of the promised everlasting inheritance--since a death has taken place which rescues and delivers and redeems them from the transgressions committed under the [old] first agreement.

16For where there is a [last] will and testament involved, the death of the one who made it must be established,

17For a will and testament is valid and takes effect only at death, since it has no force or legal power as long as the one who made it is alive.

18So even the [old] first covenant (God's will) was not inaugurated and ratified and put in force without the shedding of blood.

19For when every command of the Law had been read out by Moses to all the people, he took the blood of slain calves and goats, together with water and scarlet wool and with a bunch of hyssop, and sprinkled both the Book (the roll of the Law and covenant) itself and all the people,

20Saying these words: This is the blood that seals and ratifies the agreement (the testament, the covenant) which God commanded [me to deliver to] you.(G)

21And in the same way he sprinkled with the blood both the tabernacle and all the [sacred] vessels and appliances used in [divine] worship.

22[In fact] under the Law almost everything is purified by means of blood, and without the shedding of blood there is neither release from sin and its guilt nor the remission of the due and merited punishment for sins.

In the beginning of time their came about the first killing by Cain (the first child of Adam and Eve), killing his brother Abel (the second child of Adam and Eve). This was the first time blood was ever shed on Earth in this present age. - "see Genesis 4:10-11" When this kill happened, the blood of Abel cried out to God from within the Earth, the then location of "Paradise/Abraham's Bosom", because "LIFE" (the breath/spirit of life) is also in the blood. "see Luke 16:22, Deuteronomy 12:23"

Everyone's blood/spirit/life calls out to God. God knows you because you are wonderfully made. You have a distinct imprint, science calls this distinction the "DNA." As with science and doctors, God discerns the hurt, disease, alcohol, drugs, (evil or good), etc, that has gotten into the bloodstream/spirit.

The first killing also set a pattern for the souls of those who have died to be placed into the Earth (Hell/Hades/Paradise - Respectively). When God looks upon us and finds good, i.e. pure blood/spirit, His presence comes upon us. This is why the mercy seat, from the Ark of the Covenant, Gods resting place on the Earth, was sprinkled with the blood of animals. Why not human blood? God saw the animals blood as being pure, unlike the blood of humankind at the time.

Under the first Covenant, when the High Priest, who at the time symbolized Jesus the Christ and also the people, entered into the Most Holy Place (Gods dwelling place) clothed in the priestly garments which represented a type of righteousness, then sprinkled the pure blood of the animal sacrifice on the mercy seat, this served as a type and shadow of Jesus' pure blood who is the High Priest of Heaven being poured out on the alter in Heaven. The blood sacrifice by the High Priest (Jesus) meant asking for forgiveness from God on behalf of the sinful people. After the act of blood offering for the sins of the people the presence of the Lord God filled the place, this meant the High Priest's act of repentance was accepted for all the sins of the people up until that point in time.

This whole process is also a picture of the body of man being filled with the presence of God-(His Holy Spirit) after the life/spirit/soul of the body of the person was poured out at the alter, offering themselves to God as a Holy living sacrifice ready to serve God. "see Romans 12:1, Genesis 22" The sacrifice was only acceptable after going through the processes of the individual first, dying to his/her old sinful nature and coming to repentance at the "Bronze alter." Second , man was to wash himself clean by being baptized as the "Bronze Laver." Third, man is to go deeper into oneness with God by partaking/eating/filling himself with the bread of life, which symbolized the living word of God at the table of "Showbread." Fourth, as man continues to renew his mind by constantly studying the word of God, he becomes to enter deeper into a oneness with God through Holy Spirit of God, allowing the "oil" (which represent the Holy Spirit) to constantly be poured into himself bringing much "light" (understanding) into the things of God at the "Golden lampstand." Fifth, as man becomes enlightened through the renewal of his mind he begins to partake in much prayer at the "alter of incense" learning to discover Gods will, as well as Gods divine plan and purposes, opening the door for man to go deeper with God into ONENESS/The Most Holy Place/ The presence of God. It is as this point of complete oneness man is able to truly see- (understand) the importance of offering all of himself as a Holy Living sacrifice unto the Lord God to be used by Him (God). As man enters the Holy of Holies and the sacrifice- (life/spirit/soul) of man is poured onto the mercy seat above the "Ark of the Covenant", (which symbolizes Jesus the Christ having inside of Him the law of God, the bread of life, and Life/the Holy Spirit) the presence of God comes, thus revealing to us the picture of Jesus's abiding in us, all of us abiding in Him, and we in the Holy Father, AMEN! SEE EXODUS 24-20 FOR STUDY REFERENCES.

Yet, under the Old Covenant the people remained evil and continued in rebellious nature toward God, because they did not grow in understanding of the hidden meaning behind all that was being done,. God knew in order for the people to grow to understanding they needed a perfect example to enlighten them. The perfect example is Jesus the Christ (God in human form).

Jesus not only gave us a perfect example of God being joined to man through His Holy Spirit- (when we acknowledge the Holy Spirit inside of us), Jesus also set a new pattern for the soul/blood/life of men. No longer did the soul/life/blood of man have to remain in the Earth/paradise/Abraham's bosom. Everyone who has repented of their sins and have found forgiveness from God are released/set free from the curse of sin and the hold of hell/Hades/death and are now free to be ONE with GOD while here on earth and be immediately present with the Lord, when they die (when the body dies), Amen!

"Breath of Life"

Jesus (the Living word of God in the Flesh, God in the form of man) = } -----

"Pure (Spirit) Blood"

-----clothed in righteousness/His body - } breathes/speaks - } the living word/seed into people - } once the people eat (listen) to the word/seed it is planted inside of them and they come to understanding/acknowledgment they are revived/re born/born again in their spirit/life/blood/soul, from being washed cleaned/forgiven, able to be one with God/abide in His presence/The garden of Eden, now able to be fruitful/bearing the fruit of the spirit, and multiply in the earth/make disciples/ followers of Jesus, opening the door/giving an opportunity for all mankind to go and be with God for all eternity (saved).

However to remain ALIVE for all eternity we must eat from the actual "Tree of Life". Because of this truth we must realize the importance of constantly feeding ourselves with the living word of God, in order that we remain alive and set free, to be ONE with God in Christ, AMEN!

If you truly BELIEVE Jesus is the Word of God in the flesh, this means you Believe Gods word (His Holy Bible) and true belief is FOLLOWED UP WITH ACTION. We must do/obey all that Gods word INSTRUCTS us to do. We cannot just believe ONE PART (our salvation) and neglect the rest of what His word says- (healing, forgiveness, obedience, etc). When we neglect the whole truth of Gods word we have no true understanding of what we believe and we don't know why we believe what we believe, this opens the door for us to create our own beliefs and standards, playing God ourselves. Living your own way, doing good and/or evil is rebellion against God, it is this way of thinking that cursed all of mankind in the beginning. We were created to do Gods will.

The process of offering blood for the remission of sins was apart of the "LAW OF GOD". Jesus the Christ came to the Earth not to do away with the Law (no to do away with the process of salvation), but He came to fulfill the Law of God (complete it, give us understanding) This is what He meant when He said, "It is finished." Jesus gave us insight into Gods law of OFFERING(S) things for purification and made it acceptable for us to offer ourselves to God, such is what God has required all along, but before we understood Jesus and all He stood for, we were considered impure to God. We must bring OURSELVES to the alter of God -"Deuteronomy 16:16, Romans 12:1-2" and through repentance, God will then purify us, bless us, and use us to show His love, through us to our neighbors (others) - "Matthew 22:37-40"

In realizing the blessings God has truly bestowed upon us through the sacrifice of Jesus the Christ, we are set free from the offerings that God required from the Law of God and are now free, through Jesus the Christ (our salvation) to offer ourselves to God, with sacrifices of praise - "Hebrews 12:28, 13:15". Through Jesus, God has now atoned us (made us at ONE with Himself). The feasts of God and offerings required by Gods law, were all types and shadows for the atoning act of Jesus the Christ on our behalf. The patterns of purification and giving were set in place for all mankind to learn REVERENCE to the ALMIGHTY GOD, AMEN! - "Duet 14:23". Do not be deceived by today's teachings, for a thorough understanding of the difference between "tithes and offerings" see the "ROYALTIES" tab on the main page. Through Jesus everyday is an atoning day, - "Leviticus 22-23".

ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED!

Luke 12:48 (Amplified Bible)

48But he who did not know and did things worthy of a beating shall be beaten with few [lashes]. For everyone to whom much is given, of him shall much be required; and of him to whom men entrust much, they will require and demand all the more.(A)

So far we have learned that Adam and Eve were full of the Gods Holy Spirit (Life, power, attributes, and gifts) and they also were given access to the "Tree of Life". We also learned when Adam and Eve sinned against God, they were CONVICTED.by the Holy Spirit for their sin towards God. To put this plainly, Adam and Eve were "convicted"/their eyes were opened, meaning they understood that they had done something wrong in the sight of God. We also know from scripture when Adam and Eve were asked by God, for the reason behind their sin, they passed the blame on one another, instead of owning up to their rebellious nature and REPENTING (asking God for His forgiveness). Finally, we learned when we sin against God, we become separated from Him (His presence) until we repent, this doesn't mean God takes away the power of His Holy Spirit from us (for those who have become born again of the Holy Spirit of the Lord). Instances where the power of the Holy Spirit lays dormant in the individual was more common in the cases of the early ones from the beginning of time, because they did not have access to the written word of God (Life), in order to discover the truth to become revived/alive!

In today's times people are still unaware of the word of God and living under the curse of sin, passed onto them by Adam. People are existing (lifeless) with the Holy spirit of God laying dormant (unaware/unused) within them, constantly inviting evil (drugs, alcohol, lies, etc) into their being, instead of Gods living word which opens the door to LIFE!

When people REPENT of their sins they are Spiritually reborn (born again/revived). As people believe this truth, trusting they have been forgiven by the Holy Father, Life (the Holy spirit) comes alive within them, sealing them up for the day of salvation, this happens whether the person UNDERSTANDS THIS PROCESS OR NOT!

It is important to gain understanding in the truths of God and take ownership in His word, because when you are SAVED/Born again and truly believe it, no one can ever take it away from you (God will not relax His hold on you (Hebrews 13:5). The ISSUE is - if the person who has become saved never comes to an understanding of what has actually happened to them by attending a place of fellowship, studying the bible, etc, they never Learn how to partake in the true promises of God, and remain open to constant attacks by the enemy, plainly put, people never learn how to live beyond the curse of sin!.

If their is No understanding coupled with obedience the individual cannot live life in abundance and/or become full of Gods Spirit. The more you come to understanding, the more empowered and accountable (responsible) you'll become.

Have you become content with just going through the motions of simple existence? Do you ever wonder is their more to Life? The truth of Gods word is life and furthermore the hidden truth (true understanding and revelation) brings life in abundance. Up until now, this point in time, the deeper meanings of Gods word needed to be searched out, sought after, in order to prove yourself worthy of handling Gods Holy things, but NOW in these FINAL TIMES, BEFORE THE RETURN OF JESUS THE CHRIST AND THE RAPTURE OF HIS SAVED CHILDREN, GOD is pouring out His Spirit (truth, power, knowledge, revelation, understanding, etc) "Acts2:17". God is making His vision plain, in order that all who truly hear and see it will be able to understand His divine plan and run with it (apply it to self and equip others) - Habakkuk 2:2. The understanding of Gods truth is becoming more and more prevalent each day, technology is also advancing rapidly, as well as perilous times of great stress, violence, etc, Jesus has said these things must take place before the Rapture happens. "Matthew 24:37, II Timothy 3, Daniel 12:4" God knows without vision (knowledge/understanding) people will PERISH (remain without life) - "Proverbs 29:18" and this most certainly isn't the will of God - see "John 3:15-16"

For those who have been born again and don't aspire to discover more of God at first, God knows YOU and what your capable of and He is very merciful, God will allow a persons mind to be blinded from the truth (understanding) for a season, in the hopes, that the individual would become jealous, seeing others come to salvation, experiencing life, and enjoying Gods promises - "Romans 11" . He will cause you to see and don't see (understand) and to hear and don't hear (comprehend). This doesn't mean God will not empower you to fulfill His divine plan and purpose. IT IS NOT GOD's WISH THAT YOU PERISH (remain without revelation/enlightenment/understanding in order that you experience everlasting LIFE here and now while on Earth) by becoming born again and gaining understanding of His word of truth and walking in obedience to it, yet if that is not the case He will allow you to become RELIGOUS (partaking in the things of God/types and shadows), never attaining the true hidden meaning behind His instructions. The deeper things of God can be referred to as becoming spiritual and/or gaining a spiritual connection to Him and most don't experience this due to a lack/zeal for pressing in for more of GOD, how sad.

Please know YOU MUST LEARN HIS WAYS! ALL must learn obedience and righteousness, either you will learn it now (which is best) in order to experience Gods promises now, or You will learn such things during the MILLENIAL REIGN of CHRIST - (Isaiah 2:2-3) .

Warning, it is very dangerous to backslide, meaning to know Gods truth, to understand Gods truth and DO NOT OBEY HIS TRUTH. No one that God has been CONSTANTLY working in and through (born of God) continues to do the same sins over and over. WILLFULLY SINNING again and again IS NOT OF GOD, this proves God has not been constantly working in you to transform you into Christ-likeness and/or you have quenched the Holy spirit by becoming disobedient to the Holy Spirit prompting's - (I John 3:6) and/or you have invited evil into your being

Warning - THOSE WHO ONLY CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD IN THEIR TIME OF NEED AND/OR USE THE LORDS NAME TO DO GOOD ARE NOT SAVED, BECAUSE THEIR HAS NOT BEEN TRUE REPENTANCE TO GOD! "Mathew 7:21-23" - 21Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.

22Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name?

23And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].(A)

None-the-less God will have mercy upon whom He chooses as described in "Luke 23:41-43" one of the many instances in which God showed us His grace, yet be warned not to take His grace for granted!

The importance of gaining understanding of the Living Word of God is key to knowing that the curse of Sin has been broken off of your LIFE! THE COMMON PROBLEM IN THE BODY OF CHRIST CAN BE CURED BY knowing and understanding the difference between THE CURSES OF GOD AND THE BLESSINGS OF GOD

BEWARE OF THE False PROPHET

I TIMOTHY 4:1

False prophets can be compared to today's MEGA MINISTRIES. Both stand in judgement of not empowering Gods children to go out and make disciples of Jesus the Christ. These mega-ministries, steal away opportunities for the people of God to give to the poor personally, serve in their communities, etc, as wall as partner together for a worldly impact.

False prophets, build their kingdom (followers), instead of strengthening Gods kingdom. They claim of speaking forth Gods purposes and doing His (Gods) will (helping, healing, casting out demons, etc), but they honestly DO NO KNOW (understand) /abide in oneness with Jesus. They MIX the principles of God with wordily wisdom (as the Enemy does) . They encourage their followers to determine their own futures, give to get, gain only hope for self, etc. These false prophets/teachers/pastors/bishops, etc rarely speak God's truth, instead they only speak to their followers exactly what the people desire to hear, which is usually a money driven message, Don't get the wrong picture, God takes pleasure in the prosperity of His children, that they will be a blessing to others. God commands us to help and love our neighbor as we love ourselves, yet we must be carefully not to take scripture out of context, only taking bits and pieces of Gods word, in order to make people feel God, while neglecting the Good portion, the whole truth of Gods word, which brings about transformation and empowerment, be warned this day - Revelations 22:18-20. God calls His children to become a ministry, not just be apart of one. If only the message of the Kingdom was preached and understood as Jesus commanded us - (Matthew 10:7-10) THEN all things will be added to us putting to shame the sin of worry and doubt. All teachers/pastors who are obedient to this command is worthy of their hire.

We are all called to be co-laborers with God/members of the same body with one Shepard, who is Jesus the Christ, the Head. The following are a few tips on recognizing "FALSE (LYING) Prophets":

The word says we would know the followers of Jesus by the fruit that they bear - are the people who follow them follower of Jesus or the pastor/teacher, which means is the pastor/teacher transparent enough (submitted to God) to allow God to flow (operate) in and through them, flowing into the people, teaching the people submission to God. or are the people attracted to the pastors/teachers non- connected/non- spiritual, fleshly ways (showmanship/style)?

Please know God is in control. He causes all things to work out for the good. God will use the good portion of the pastor/prophet/ teacher to bring about salvation on behalf of God. God also has the power to use such people to sow and water the seed of Gods word being placed into the people, until God is ready to reap the harvest.

If you happen to be under the leadership of such a teacher, know that God places people into position of authority and He corrects what needs to be corrected - "Daniel 4:30-37" Hold your teacher accountable to Gods word until you UNDERSTAND Gods word for yourself, as you yourself study Gods word on your own, developing a RELATIONSHIP/spiritual connection/oneness/ with God through Jesus the Christ (the living word), knowing God for yourself, God will begin to empower you. You must study the word of God for yourself and obey it. The bible gives firm descriptions of devout teachers of God in the gospel book of TITUS and Luke 12:42-48.

In the defense of truly genuine teachers be careful not to Judge a person based on one or two instances, etc, if the signs are their they will be plainly seen by all, if your eyes become opened that you may see and see (understand) don't dwell on the impurities of the teacher, God knows the heart, pray that all come to understanding, You remain faithful to learning the truth and don't judge, the point- BEWARE!

UNDERSTANDING THE WORD

"I John 2:27"

Most pastors today preach on the bases of instilling hope into their congregation, and not for understanding of Gods truth, in order that the people become empowered. This type of teaching causes dependence upon the pastors and teachers. People should encourage their pastors and teachers to teach understanding and obedience, building up hope and confidence in God and His promises available to them when they follow (obey) His (Gods) will. When teaching with understanding is given, this causes the people to learn on their own through the Holy Spirit, otherwise the people become lazy, only wanting answers, having no desire to seek God and search out His Holy word themselves, for understanding and revelation, being mislead by the hype (music, lights, camera, action)..

Has God been speaking to you personally and /or through others and you ignore Him?

How may pastors and teachers have you gone through in search of finding those who will teach only what you want to hear?

Preachers - God chose preachers to preach salvation " Romans 10:13-15"

Pastors and teachers - God chose pastors and teachers/apostles to train his children on how to study the bible, how to pray, fellowship, serve, etc These authorities in the church are to be examples in leading the children of God to follow and obey the perfect example of Christ, in order that (the people) Go and do the same I.e. become pastors, teachers, fathers (apostles).

The issue -

In today's time proper examples OF CHRIST are not being given. Most pastors/teachers only train the people to have hope for themselves not others, they focus on solving the problems of the people. This is not their calling, they are essentially trying to take the place of God in the people lives. The people are non the wise, they enjoy and welcome such direction because they don't understand the role of the pastor. This is the devils strategy and this is why so many cults are formed. When the focus given by the pastor is on personal lives,as well as what's going on in the world (with the exception of prophecy), then what empowerment is given to the people to go out and be faithful witnesses of Jesus the Christ? When gossip is disguised as sermons the church is distracted. Such has been the focus of the enemy since day one - convincing people to keep the focus on themselves, mixing "GOSSIP" with bits of truth from Gods word. Such direction is only a Band-Aid to an internal issue that can only be healed by the love of our Holy Father. Because of this distraction, the people don't understand the call of God on their lives (they are dull of spiritual hearing) and this causes them NOT to press in for more of God in order that He may teach them properly

Why is it important for the people to seek God on their own and to answer His call ? - If the people are not focused on Gods specific will for their lives, as well as, the purpose for their creation, people will end up following the crowd, being lost, missing out on the promises He has stored in them to bless themselves and others

Ex - one church "fellowship"

The general message given by the pastor/teacher = "Serve Your Community"

Great message - It is true we should be serving, amongst other duties in the body of Christ, but Gods will for one individual may be different at any given season. Maybe Gods specific will for the individual is to pray and intercede on behalf of others, or He may be calling them to serve, the point is to learn how to seek His will, because He has a divine plan for our lives. Their is a two fold purpose of the church meeting, 1 learn submission to God through the pastor, and when God begins to call you out (provided you are learning how to hear from God correctly) you will understand submission to God in Christ. 2. Fellowship, meaning helping one another, instilling hope in one another, serving with one another, etc. in order that you become strengthened in the things of God, so you may better serve GOD in His plan for your life.

Choose of your own free will to seek, obey, and follow God no matter what the cost. Follow His will for your life and watch His plan unfold - This is what your in search of - fulfillment, purpose, and life. Open yourself up to God and He will prove himself to you, learn the importance of charity, patience, meekness (Galatians 5:22-23) and God will then work in and through you.

Pastors your not locked in - You can empower the people starting today. Train the people up in the way they should go. Graduation is the sign of a great teacher. Pastors you are not dependent upon the people, God is your source - He will provide. The harvest is truly plentiful, trust in the Lord!
